This is absolutely gorgeous. I love it when artists manage to make Poison Ivy not only incredibly sexy, but still have that hint of danger, that she can still easily kill you once she gets bored of posing (that, or she’s already poisoned you and is just waiting for it to take effect).

I saw this picture and thought of you.

Reblogging this again because (a) I recently made that post about non-skinny/non-white/etc models in steampunk and people expressed a desire to see any that I could find (and as I posted this in the early days of my Tumblr blog, I’m pretty sure that those interested parties may have missed this the first time round).
Also because (b) it has less than 150 notes. This… is boggling. Maybe it’s elsewhere on Tumblr, but I have not seen it crop up on my dash from a different source, and if anyone’s gonna reblog this kind of pretty, it’s you lovely folks on my dash. (Will also look for proper source and update this post)

I’m giving in now. MOAR STEAMPUNK :D

Works by John William Waterhouse.

My absolute favorite artist. When I was in high school, I printed out a bunch of his paintings and taped them to the inside of my locker. I just love his work so much.

Oh my goodness this is gorgeous…
I especially love the hair, but the entire thing is just lovely.

Just sketching a gargoyle when Nightwing popped in >.<

XDXD He enjoys being the center of attention. Really really well done art though—both the gargoyle and the acrobat.

I am having a sculpture orgasm. No, a Gian Lorenzo Bernini orgasm. What he has been able to do with marble since he was a small child, is un-friggin’-real. Looking at his sculptures is sexy. Find out more here:

I adore mermaid pictures.
And mermen (or merboys, male mermaids in general) are rarer to find than they should be.
And this picture is gorgeous. The many fins on his tail and arms (which is how I like to draw merpeople as well), the scales on his face and shoulder, the webbed hands, the unhuman bending of the tail (basically putting the tail in a way that shows it’s not just some human in a merperson costume, which I always LOVE), underwater hair of the merman is done so excellently which I always appreciate, the colors are all wonderful.
I also love the scifi feel of the picture, the girl (? I assume it’s a girl) in the astronaut/deep sea explorer outfit and ship is excellently done. There is that subtle sense of fear as well, with the cracks in the glass and water slowly filling up that pod, reflected in the sad expression in of the merman—yet she seems rather resigned and more interested in looking at the creature I assume she’s never seen before.
Overall amazing and gorgeous picture.

Clover has some of the most amazing artwork ever created. I do hope Clamp gets around to finishing this story. But really, this artwork, this SERIES, I think is some of their BEST stuff.

An illustration I did for Instinct Magazine on unfair Adoption cases.

Heart breaking, guys. This is NOT how this should go. A kid should go where they’re safe and taken care of.

TRUTH

This is really depressing

This is terrible… and sadly true. :(
