Dick sitting on Bruce’s lap. And he looks so happy about it. And Bruce looks confused. Be quiet Bruce, you know you love it. Those hands on Dick’s waist aren’t pushing him off. 

I love Dick’s hands tentatively resting on Bruce’s shoulders/back. Like Dick wants to rest them there, but is nervous of being rejected since he’s already pushing it by sitting on his mentor’s lap. And Dick leaning in, which could be for a kiss, but I’m thinking more about to rest his head on Bruce’s shoulder. He looks a bit tired, and this is probably happening after a long night on patrol—which might be why Bruce is letting him get away with it. ;)

Oh my god Teal…

I don’t even know where to start. This is just wonderful. 

Bruce’s face. Yes that’s where my eyes keep going. The difference between his and Dick’s expressions. They’re so close, and yet while Dick appears to be reveling in the sensation and soaking in this moment, Bruce remains constrained and serious. Or at least that’s how he appears at first glance. Upon closer look, he is leaning into Dick’s face, mouth slightly open, perhaps whispering something to his first boy wonder, or just breathing against him. As always, Bruce is incredibly focused. Or really really trying to be. 

Their hair too. Mussed. BOTH of them. Which could mean this is after a long night of patrol, or something else has just started. Or both. 

I also love how Bruce seems so still and controlled, while Dick is arching and moving—of course, Bruce’s hands on his hip and thigh are keeping him grounded, and Dick seems to appreciate this given his own hands are going to cover his mentor’s. Spreading his legs and baring his neck to the man who’s meant and been everything to him since he was a child. They’re still clothed (only their masks missing—which does, for them, leave them metaphorically pretty bare), but both in their own way seem ready to lose it just being in this intimate position, because they each rarely allow themselves to really push that barrier with each other very much. Bruce keeps everyone emotionally at arm’s length, and Dick respects and values whatever attention Bruce gives him too much to try and get closer very often except for those moments where Bruce does something to hurt him too much that he explodes (and typically, within a page or two, ends up apologize to Bruce anyway). 

It’s a complicated and fairly messed up relationship that I love and you captured so beautifully here. And excuse my rambling but I wanted to get these thoughts out and this just gives me so many feelings that I’m trying to make coherent here but suffice to say I really really really love this and thank you so much for making this for me it’s amazing and sexy and the tiniest bit angsty and perfect.

I love how relaxed they look here. Dick’s chatting away, leaning back and Bruce looks so calm. I love how they are both so focused on their hands and fingers together. Like they are just winding down after a not-too-eventful night of patrol.

I fairly certain Bruce only touched Tim when someone died or he was hurt/unconscious.

Or Bruce came back from the dead.

Tim now fears any physical contact from Bruce.

Bruce goes to hug him on his birthday and Tim’s reaction, “OH MY GOD WHO DIED NOW.”

I love how gentle Bruce looks here. That’s not a side of him you see very often. Same for the adorably vulnerable Jason. I love the memory frame too.
